No Laughing Allowed Life Well Blogged edition by Monica Merrill Mylet Abbey Fatica Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews

I've never taken so long to complete a 200 page book in my life.

No Laughing Allowed was an incredibly hard book to read. The words kept blurring together through my tears of laughter.

Abbey Fatica and Monica Merrill Mylet of Life Well Blogged have curated some of the funniest Moms you can find in the blogosphere. These ladies will capture your heart and tickle your funny bone while providing a completely transparent, and often vulnerable, peek behind the curtain of their role as Mom.

I'm not ashamed to admit, by the end of No Laughing Allowed, I was ready to pour a glass of wine and try on a pair of yoga pants. Okay, I'm kidding... I prefer beer or whiskey to wine.

The bottom line is this Whether you're a Mom or a Dad, this book provides great insight and laugh out loud enjoyment as you dive into the adventures of parenthood. Moms will be filled with empathetic laughter while reading of all-to-familiar experiences. Dads will gain a much deeper appreciation for being a Mom and hopefully be challenged to create some side-splitting-belly-laughable moments of their own.

this book was one of the best books i ever read. i was able to review this book from the author.

even though it says no laughing allowed, i couldn't stop laughing. it was about a bunch of moms telling their storys from post baby to after baby. i could relate in every way. i had to nod, and then call my twin sister and read her parts because we both had this happen to us.

i also was very glad that some of these story didn't happend to me, but i got embarassed by laughing so loud at work and also at the doctors office. i would suggest that all going to be moms read this book because it is what you are in for

i felt like i could write a couple of my own after reading this book because it made my life feel normal!
** i got a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review**

oh my god! I SOOOO LOVED THIS BOOK. This book is a collection of blogs written by moms/wifes about everyday life events.

Dear blogger moms can we be friends? let's have coffee!

I love these women so much. You can relate to every story that is written in this book.

I have never laughed so much in my whole life to the point of tears. I swear all my co-workers think i am a nut case.

My favorite story of them all was "I'm sure this is all totally normal" by Motherhood-a descent into madness

this is a story about all the things her son has been licking lately here is a blurb of the story and what i could relate to the most out of it.

" almost the toilet plunger. He had it 1.5 inches from his open mouth when i yanked it out his hand and almost beat him with it for being so disgusting, then realized that would be counterproductive, and that i don't' beat my kids"

If your a mother or soon to be a mother you must read this book

A MUST READ FOR EVERY WIFE/ MOTHER/ or MOTHER TO BE!

BUY IT!
I have to say that to not laugh through the reading of this book, you simply just had to be from another planet. What Abbey Fatica and Monica Mylet actually did was gather together some of the most hilarious mom bloggers out there and stuffed them chapter by chapter in a book.

The contents within the pages contained thoughts from no less than 34 bloggers. These ladies discussed their lives of mommy-hood, school drop-offs, womanly stuff, sex or lack there of and the gift of wine with such flair and hilarity. I cannot begin to tell you how I almost choked a couple of times on my large glass of Pepsi with the familiarity of it all.

As a Mom and now, young Grandma, I saw myself in some of these tales.

For example like the one where trying to get in a quickie while the kids are watching TV. (Just for the record, to my kids don't roll your eyes at me. You will do it too one day now that you have your own kids.)

I could truly relate to the blogger who felt somewhat defeated because she could not fit in to her little black dress anymore. She tells of getting stuck. Oh my gosh, tears of laughter or is it sadness.

Then of course the blogger who listed the things she had planned to do as the "best mommy in the world". You know, like having dinner at the table, EVERY night. Yeah, that happens. (uh hmm...the kids rolling their eyes at me again)

If you are a Mom, Grand-Mom, wish you were a Mom, or even a Husband (yes, you are included in here too), then you want to read this book! It is in your face truthful and so much fun.

Raise your glass of wine because this book gets 5 stars!

Many of my favorite bloggers are highlighted here. Some of them will make you slap your forehead, some of them make you spit your water at your screen, but all of them are stories to which you can relate. A perfect read for moms of all ages!
